I was not expecting to blow through this book as quickly as I did, but it was really engaging! I can see why some other people might think it's redundant (as the same events are told from different character's POVs), but it didn't bother me because the various perspectives were written SO BELIEVABLY, and they gave a little more background and/or advanced the plot with extra insight on the character's motivations. Plus the emphasis on mother-child relationships was great! It was not what I expected in the best possible way.
