The Best of All Possible Worlds by Karen Lord

Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.

DNF @ page 88. This is highly disappointing, I had high hopes for this. I think what Lord is doing here is interesting, but for some reason everything feels so...hollow. Like there's a thin layer of story, but if you poke through it to try to get at some emotion to connect to, there's nothing to find. I guess that's just me, maybe I should try to come back to this at some future point.
