I bet my review will be different than majority of the reviews posted for this novel. Don't get me wrong, the writing is well done. The characters are well developed and I am a fan of middle aged romance novels. I'm glad dyslexia is being addressed in this novel in respectable way. I think that is very important to be inclusive of different people and their experiences.
However, I find myself bored while reading this novel. There's little drama and I don't feel the chemistry between the characters. The most exciting part of the novel is when the homophobic teacher confront the main characters and that get resolved pretty quickly. I suppose this novel would be appreciated more by readers who enjoy simple romance between two women without much drama.
