I don’t know how to rate this. It straddles between 3 and 3.5. It’s very meta. The final two chapters confused me and then when I realized what was going on it kind of pissed me off. I don’t like that the characters don’t have names but that could just be the author’s style of writing. It really grated how the wives are simplified by their marriage order.
I don’t know what it is but something about this book just doesn’t sit right with me.
