Ok I'll start with the good:
This book did what I wanted it to. A book i could read before bed or while stoned without being worried about keeping up with all the intricate details of some vast world building political system. It was fun and bizarre. Vektal, as far as romance choices go, was loveable i suppose.

Now the bad
I could not suspend my disbelief once. Not when they just got over the constant
raping the women went through. Or the fact that all of them smelled like piss and shit and vomit the whole time. Or how vektal just accepted this weird freak hed never seen beflre was his mate. Or how any of the other women accepted the other people as their mate.
I think that the writing was lazy in many places, glaring plot holes got in the way of me just reading it, some of the vocabulary made me wanna scream. Look, I get that this was written a bit tongue in cheek, but good god it wasnt good enough to do that.

I'll maaaaaybe read the next ones if im I need for another low-attention book. But until then, Ruby Dixon, it wasnt super nice while it lasted, but thanks for entertaining me for a bit I suppose.
