This book is so much darker and dangerous then the others. A lot of horrible things happen to Elle that if I'm honest did skip so of the darker moments but in previous book you could feel this was going to happen.
Jackson struggled to understand his place with his destiny in the Drake family and instead of jumping at it he backed off leaving Elle not understanding and upset. I love that both these broken hearts and bodies heal each other and make a life together. Absolutely loved wading and the bad guy finally getting his comeuppance.
