I'd like to preface this by saying I read this in tandem with Tower of Dawn.
However...
Just wow.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book.
It's hard to say much without the risk of spoilers, but honestly, this was the fun part of the tandem read. These were the parts I looked forward to. And this was the book with all the surprises in!
Also, who'd have thought I could feel anything for Lorcan?
Elide is amazing, by the way. She is so strong and caring despite everything she has been through. When I grow up, I wanna be Elide.
On to the final book!
