TW: murder, stalking, blood, kidnapping, panic attacks, anxiety, drug use, rape, misogyny, grief, animal cruelty, and more.

This was a little harder to get through because of some heavy topics that it talks about. But after reading all the books in the series I’ve concluded two things.

1. The police in their town sucks. So I don’t blame Pip for her questionable life decisions.
2. You know who is literally one of the suspects in every freaking book and I don’t know what to feel about that.

This isn’t about the cases of Pip’s friends or neighbors anymore but about Pip herself. How she dealt with the trauma that the first two cases left her. And she is going to solve one last case to help her move on, only this case involves her as a potential next victim.

I love how Pip came from solving a murder to getting away with murder.
