How did these two stay away from one another for long? The chemistry? The Push and Pull? The moral dilemma?? I was dying for their every touch. I never wanted this book to end-I could have used a million epilogues just to know that Hollis, Princess, Postie, and Malone got their happily ever after. I could happily live in the land of the Toronto Terror forever. Aurora’s boldness had my mouth on the floor. I was simultaneously incredibly impressed by her actions and nervous for the potential fall out.
Cat Daddy Hollis is something else. He’s hot, commanding, and oh, has a crush on his best friend’s/teammates daughter. But don’t think this is one-sided, Aurora has grown up around the team, and now that she’s graduating from university, she’s not so little anymore. It’s hard to have a normal college experience when your classmates are more interested in your dad, his teammates, and free tickets.
It was so exciting to see Alex Waters(of the Pucked series) and his crew. As they are celebrities in MY hockey romance book experience it was fun to see them fawned over in the Helena Hunting universe as well. After all, Violet is the blueprint for hilarious females who grew up in the hockey world. Where seeing an alpha athlete without his shirt is just another day.
There were so many sparks between the characters. I want everyone on this team/girl group to have their own book. Dallas? I’m dying. Daddy Hammerstein? Yes, please. I was incredibly grateful for the character map at the beginning of the book and had to reference it a few times. There are just so many “H” names. Did I mention that Aurora has like ten names including Peggy, Hammer, and my personal favorite-Princess? But I suppose needing a character map isn’t that big of a deal when this entire team and bad ass brigade are the best kind of found family.
