Let me start by saying that yes, there will be an abundance of sex and talk about sex in very explicit writing on this book but there will be a lot of talk about how one who “hates” God retrieves back his belief in God.
I am not a religious person and a lot of time during this book, I felt that I can understand where Sean was coming from. Why he can’t understand Tyler, Zenny or his mother. There were also some points in the story where I felt that maybe, if Sean can find his way back to God that others can to. As Zenny said, “you can do both” when it comes to thinking that God is guilty of a lot of things but at the same time still pray to him.
For me this book was beyond better than Priest in terms of the characters and the story.
I truly did love this from start to finish.
