I am late to this series featuring Virgil Flowers. This isn't 5-star great literature, but it is 5-star in the mystery/police procedural genre. I will work my way through the series in order and I particularly enjoy the rural Minnesota settings and descriptions. I like reading books about places I'm familiar with.
