this book is one of those books where it feels like nothing happens until the very end- but not in a bad way. also, i feel like the end is the only end it really could’ve been. like you can make a bunch of guesses or come up with several different endings, but really the end makes perfect sense to me. unreliable narrator. i really liked it! my complaint is really that the love interest does not seem particularly worth any of the trouble, but i think it’s kinda the point. also i would have liked a little more plot movement in the back half of the story.
