If I could add a bit of advice, exercise caution when reading this book. Especially if you’re easily triggered by accounts of CSA And other traumatic experiences. This book is a book that takes the experience of one woman whose comedy show about quitting comedy took the world by storm with the way she is able to tell her story and keep the tension and then releasing it by telling a joke. The book is not afraid of going into the territory of talking about her gay bashing at a bus stop that she mentions in Nanette as well as her CSA. But the pacing is a little slow
