Love Story by Lauren Layne

4.0

I liked that the MC (main character) will have nothing to do with assholes. It was angsty but not dragged out. Both characters were driven but not asshole-ish. The entire book is fueled by their relationship and totally relatable teenage and adult insecurities. There were no external circumstances messing with the relationship cliches. The couple had good chemistry even though the chemistry was sometimes crippled by the trapped-in-motel-car-together clunky plot. I loved the epilogue at the wine tasting with both of them doing what they're good at and want to do. The POV switching was great - wished we got that for "Walk of Shame" as well.
