I would have possible given this a 3 star, but I could not get over the fact that avocados are NOT plants they are trees, the idea that anyone saw them plant an entire garden bed of avocado TREES and were only concerned that it wasn't the right season almost drove me to shelve this book. There were a few okay bits but really, I just wanted everyone to stop being stupid and talk to each other.
