Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou

In my career I have worked with many start ups so I was not surprised by the personality of Holmes.  So many are arrogant and tell you inflated stories of how good the technology is.  This is why it is so important to have a neutral group in your company to vet out the technology and listen to their recommendation once the experiments are done.  You can easily spot a con-man (or con-woman) once you run a couple of controlled experiments.  If the technology is a black box and won't be reveal to you even under a confidentiality agreement then it probably is not real technology.  I enjoyed this book alot just because I have personally have interacted with alot of people that are mentioned in this book.
