I read meemoomeemootm's review and they took my thoughts and wrote them down amazingly. So I'll add a copy of it here.

One thing I want to add is that I listened to book 1 & 2 and read the novella and book 3 (the audio wasn't out yet). Because of that possibly, while reading in group scenes i sometimes struggled identifying who was saying what. That of course will not be the case with the audiobook. Which if you're thinking about listening or reading, do consider listening because the cast is amazing!

Anyways, here is meemoomeemoo's review to fill in the rest of my thoughs:

Moral of the story: Always trust a woman’s intuition!!!!

I mostly loved the story. I was wondering how tf the conflict between all three areas would get resolved, and I loved how it unfolded. The conflict between the Brutes and Eden for her deception from the last book didn’t unfold how I was anticipating either. However, I did not like:

- There were no sex scenes with just Jasper and Eden, yet Jasper and Lucien got to be together by themselves and also with her. For all the push and pull through the trilogy, there was only one scene with them (+ Lucien…) and not enough S/M; A majority of that scene was just Jasper’s inner dialogue about what he wanted to do with/to her with not enough action. I was happy she told Jasper she didn’t feel like he ordered her to do anything, because he didn’t. His focus was only on her during tender talking moments/ when he was bringing her comfort. Jasper wasn’t such a big bad sadist… the fucker was sweet 90% of the time with her. So, overall, I found things between them disappointing. It felt like a fuck ton of build up between these two characters for not much on page.
- I get Lucien was the comedic relief, but I felt he was a major focus and other MMC’s slipped into the background, which for a RH book, wasn’t my favorite. Again, he received so much of Jasper’s sadism and it irked me how little Eden got. I was happy for his little Dom moment at the end.
- It sucked how sex with Dom didn’t occur until over 60% of the way through, that it took them that long to fully work through their shit; I really loved Eden and his friendship in the last book and wanted more of everything between them.
- I don’t recall Eden and Beau having an open door scene of their own though every other character got one (or if they did, wasn’t very memorable). I wanted more from their relationship, especially after resolving their issues. He was her anchor in the other books, and it felt like he was pushed aside in this one.
- Jayk’s cockblocking and all that came with it went on for a little too long. I didn’t like how towards the end, when they find the barn, Eden essentially beats him up to work out her anger but then no sex followed, so it felt less primal and more icky.
- For an RH, I wanted more than one scene with all of them. And the one we got was fun, but I wanted more.

Despite all that annoyed me, I can’t find it in me to rate any lower because the twists I didn’t see coming? They were done really well. I’m looking forward to the spinoff book.
