The Girl in the Eagle's Talons by Karin Smirnoff
2.0
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
All opinions are my own.
New author, who dis? Not anyone I would be interested in reading again. Besides the insanely choppy plot and the most disgusting of villains, it's like it was written by someone who never read the original Larsson versions of the books. I get it, this is a super weird criticism, but one of the quirks of the series is the INSANE amount of detail they go into about Blomkvist's sandwiches. In this book? Nary a descriptive sandwich in sight, and that was insanely disappointing to me.
I will not recommend this to others, and I will not continue on with the series if it's written by Smirnoff.
Thank you to NetGalley and Knopf, Pantheon, Vintage, and Anchor for the ARC!
