A Hunger Games + Percy Jackson crossover with a Latinx core and cast of joyously queer characters, this is such a wonderful YA fantasy. Thomas has clearly so much love for this world and the characters, each detail is so beautifully painted. The third act twist is a little obvious, but I feel like that's ok for the age demographic. Really excited for the next one!
