Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

i tried to like this i heard it was a good bildungsroman but i just couldn't get into it. i don't know why. maybe it's the obvious love triangle, maybe i don't get the desire for a father figure who obviously doesn't want you, maybe it's the fact the main character is wildly moody and the dialogue overall is just really stilted
