My favourite Star Wars book/book series. It follows the life of Darth Bane as he descends from a relatable and even likeable character at the start to the monster of a Sith that he becomes. I literally couldn't put this book down when I was reading it. The third book does drag a little but thats the only real weakness for me. The world building for the Old Republic era is amazing. If you're interested in Sith lore, this is as good as it gets. This trilogy acts sort of as a prequel to the Darth Plagueis novel, although I read Plagueis first I would definitely suggest starting here first because it adds context for stuff like the establishment of the rule of two. Essential for any Star Wars fan.
