Paper Concert: A Conversation in the Round by Amy Wright

4.0

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this, as I have never read anything like it. This book-length essay is filled with pieces of wisdom from thinkers of all kinds: artists, writers, activists, scientists, philosophers, and many more. The topics include what it means to be a writer, nature, race, class, ecology, and SO much more.

This was an easy read because of the format: an interview question followed by a response. After reading this, I genuinely feel more connected to the world around me. Paper Concert challenges the way we think, and the way we relate to the world and each other. Overall: I’d really recommend this read.

It contains insight and thoughts from artists, activists, and other thinkers. The range of topics spans from the climate to social issues (even on opinions regarding ketchup!), but overall reminds us that we are all connected. It's beautifully knowledgable and nostalgic.
