Royally Lost

Let’s all admit it once and for all: We’ve all dreamt of being swept off our feet by a Prince.
Darn you, Disney!
With Royally Lost, this dream becomes a reality for Becca. Becca is living the worst summer of her life, being forced to go on a trip to Europe and pretending her family is perfect. The truth is, she doesn’t really want to be with her elusive dad & annoying stepmother, when she could be having fun without them. Nikolai is the Crown Prince of Mondovia, but all he wants is to be a normal guy, just for once. When fate brings them together, Becca & Nikolai will have to evade Becca’s family and the Mondovian National Guard to actually spend time together. What results out of this could just be the best summer of their lives…
Becca at first was annoying. I couldn’t believe someone traveling through Europe could be so miserable. It was Europe! How could you be so miserable when you were in the place of my dreams?!

Anyways, this changes quickly when we actually get to know her more (I however could not shake my initial dislike for her.. *sigh*)
Nikolai was a great POV to read, because even if I’m not a Crown Prince, I do understand the pressure you feel to please your family. I felt like giving Nikolai a warm hug and telling him “I understand you”.
When these two meet, sparks fly. They quickly fall for each other and form a wonderful bond. Their adventures through Europe were nice to read about and I loved reading about them. I did think it was a bit too quick to fall in love, but seeing them together later on justified their relationship.
There were moments where their relationship was too saccharine for my like, but to each their own, I suppose.
Overall, I feel like this is a great fluffy read, perfect for those looking for a quick, wish fulfilling read.

"What I don't understand is why you're with me when you could have any girl on the planet."
"But I don't want any girl on the planet. I never really have. Until I met you."
Becca wanted to believe his words, but knew a cheesy line when she heard one. "Nice try. I'm not falling for it."
He laughed. "That's what I like about you, your honesty."
There were moments where their relationship was too saccharine for my like, but to each their own, I suppose.
