If you listen to podcasts, there's a good chance you've heard about this massively popular podcast - Lore or its creator, Aaron Mahnke (who seems to be everywhere). And if you've listened to many of his early Lore episodes, you're gonna jump into this book and pretty much read the podcast episodes. Which is a bit weird but luckily I have a crap memory and didn't remember the stories told in the podcasts (it was only looking up the chapters in the Lore catalog that I found the matching episodes). There seems to be a few original stories you can't find in the podcast. It was a creepy, fun book to read. I will probably read the other two books in the series. They're a fun pallet cleanser after my more serious history books I tend to read.
