3.0

Went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars on this one, decided that 3 is probably more accurate.

The beginning was 4 star territory -- fast, fun, with Jane's typical mix of navel-gazing and ass-kicking.

The ending, however, got weirdly religious. Which in some ways is fine, because I'm always curious about how different people view things through a religious prism, but in other ways was just... eh, I'm not sure how to say this, but when Jane was talking about her experiences as a (evangelical) Christian, things were cool, but when she started going into the territory of comparative religion it made me a little uncomfortable. It did make me realize that some Christians have appropriated the word "rabbi" and use it to describe Jesus, which I hadn't realized. So, I guess it was educational, even though I wasn't very engaged in the story by that point.

Also, I think I'm sick of the Jane-Rick-Bruiser love triangle. I wish Jane would just make a decision (one of them, neither of them, both of them, I'd even be happy if she picked Rick at this point). It doesn't even have to be a HEA, but some kind of movement would be nice.
