Verity by Colleen Hoover

I need a few seconds to stare into space because my brain is not functioning.

I had high expectations going into this book as it had been called 'a mind blowing novel' by a few people I'd spoken to. I wasn't dissapointed when the action started immediately.

This is an extremely uncomfortable book. Not quite on the level of behind closed doors, but very close. I wouldn't recommend this to people who don't have a strong stomach for profanity, detailed sex scenes, lots and lots of references to sex and a detailed disturbing account on how not to be a mother.

I made it through this one pretty fast, for me anyway. I just had to know the mind blowing twist everyone was talking about.

It's not often you reach the end of a book and you're having arguments with yourself on what to believe. I have analysed the whole plot and I still don't have a solid concrete answer. I might need a few years to come to terms with what I just read.
