I read this in one sitting, and put on The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place when the characters do about halfway through the book, and MY GOD it was a vibe.
Massey implements a more lyrical writing style in this book, which I did enjoy but felt like belonged more in the chapters told from Damien’s POV, and would have liked to see Rome’s chapters told in a voice truer to his perspective.
