LETS GO LESBIANS LETS GO!

The women in this book are incredible, complex, and entirely the focus of the plot. They are the central characters, thoroughly built both as individuals and through strong relationships with one another.

An entirely unique magic system, fascinating and refreshing.

Intelligent plotting!!! Plenty of twists with appropriate foreshadowing. Well paced introduction into the world, allowing us to uncover the details and grow with the characters.

Pretty prose. Well written slow burn romance.

I do think there were perhaps too many POVs - most notably those of random people who simply had one chapter and never appeared again. I see the purpose, to show our characters from outside the minds of those who know them, but it became a bit jarring at points.
