I really enjoyed this book. It was campy and silly, enormously entertaining, but it was also such a good reflection on gaslighting and abuse and why it can be so hard for people to escape from dangerous situations. I particularly loved the final chapter, in which Judith allows her novel’s heroine to get the ending she wasn’t able to have herself.
Graphic: Domestic abuse, Suicidal thoughts, Toxic relationship, Murder, and Gaslighting
Minor: Sexual assault
