This one has been my favorite of the 4 I've read so far. I think what made me like it more than the first and second one was that it wasn't as slow at the beginning, those two were characterized by the fact that the expeditions took quite a while to start (specially on the first one, on account that it's, well, the first one, and as it's memoirs ofc we're getting the childhood and teenage years of the protagonist to set the scene), and while this one had a small section that might be considered slow, it passed very quickly, and the expedition itself started very quickly (the third one is a whole other story and I was straight up bored at a time so that's why it's the lowest rated one, but I still enjoyed it)
Also I find it extremely funny that on the last book it was clear to us that Suhail was Isabella's new love interest and I felt very meh about him (I liked him all right, but I didn't feel super excited about their upcoming romance, at least not until the end, when I started to warm up to him bc tbf, they are, in fact, made for each other), but then this book started and I was SO excited about them meeting again and those scenes towards the end of the third part?? I was screaming. If I ever were to write a modern au, everyone lives fanfic, Isabella, Jacob and Suhail would be poly, bc I can't imagine choosing one of them, I love them both (and I love Tom too but I do like how his relationship and Isabella's is only one of friendship bc MEN AND WOMEN CAN BE FRIENDS DAMMNIT, but I also kind of ship them...sometimes...in a weird way)
