Obsidio by Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufman
4.0

The final book in the Illuminae Files trilogy, Obsidio was well worth the wait.

This book pulled together the characters from the first two books, having them meet and work together. In addition, it throws in another pair of teens, and a whole band of soldiers and civilians back at Kerenza.

The book is primarily told from the perspectives of the survivors of the first two books racing back to Kerenza, and the starving, occupied survivors of Kerenza.

AIDAN, the A.I. is perhaps my favorite character in this whole series. It poses some very interesting moral arguments and situations (again) in this book, but the rest of the cast is strong and likable as well.

Stronger then the second book, and about as good as the first one, Obsidio is well worth a read for any fans of the Illuminae Files.
