This was definitely a 5⭐️ read for me. There was a steady pace throughout most of the book but the last few chapters really picked up and I LOVE reading books like that. That just make you start flipping the pages or aggressively tapping your kindle fast af.

The buildup to the ending was really enjoyable and I had a great time reading this!

ALMOST all of the characters were so easy to love right from the very beginning, and with this being 3rd person it really did help to see all angles of THIS specific storyline. I truly think 3rd person was a perfect choice for Theodra and Kellyns story because from beginning to end seeing EVERYTHING really helped tie the book together so well.

The slow burn was worth it, the enemies to lovers was worth it. I mean this was a GOOD BOOK. Besides, as I’m sure you all have seen me say before I love anything with any gods and goddesses or mythological creatures of ANY sort. Even if it is made up.

The games/trials in this book were really exciting to read too, especially how they tied into everything as a whole. It made the book a very heart rate elevating read at times lol.

I truly cannot wait to see what the next books Hazel has planned bring.
