I truly enjoyed A Glimmer of the Other. In fact, as soon as I read the last words, I acquired A Glimmer of Hope (book 2 in the series ) and started it.
I don't recall what brought The Other Realm series to my attention, but I'm glad it did. I know I've never read anything by Harris before.
The book's premise—that three realms exist side by side and that certain individuals can move among them—is captivating. The main character, Jinx, is relatable. Her reactions and relationship with the love interest are convincing. They don't meet and abruptly fall into bed, which is a refreshing change from many urban fantasy novels.
I was surprised that the book is set in England for some reason. I suppose I'm accustomed to U.S. settings in urban fantasy!
