What a beautifully written book about grief, love, and perseverance. Slow-burn romances aren't usually my first choice, but this one makes me want to pick up another one! I've never been so invested in a pair of characters in my life. It's refreshing to read about two adults with complete lives that come together and simply love each other. And they communicate. God, they communicate. The whole point of the romance is that they talk to each other, that they're honest with each other, and they recognize each others' bids for connection.
