Back in Your Arms by Monica McCallan

This audiobook was exactly what I was hoping it'd be. It was an ADORABLE, sapphic, second chance romance. I don't want to dilute this book down to tropes (I try not to do this anyway, I feel like it creates unrealistic expectations of ALL books) but I'm not so much a second chance romance person.. but this one was done so well.

The characters all had distinct personalities, goals, and served the story well. They also all stood on their own without one another, which is important (and good) character building. I thought all conflicts and solutions were incredibly realistic. Some of the lines are cheesy but my God do we NEED books like this for wlw. Sometimes we just want to read a sappy romance where it's two women and nothing more. I also love the bonus of seeing a sister relationship being repaired. I also thought the amount of love scenes wasn't overkill and mostly served the plot. SLIGHT overuse of the word "center" though lmao.

My only complaints were that some bits could be long winded, especially the ending. I think it could have been wrapped up a bit cleaner and faster. But I overall would definitely recommend!
