The Decagon House Murders by Yukito Ayatsuji

dark mysterious fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? It's complicated
  • Loveable characters? No
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

3.5

This was a kind of bland murder mystery that followed a set track until the twist (which obviously there was going to be a twist it was pretty fucking boring). It’s fun enough, god I should have read this faster.

I knew there was gonna be some reveal with their actual names vs nicknames, points for that I guess
