It has an interesting setting and the world building is well done, but there are too many POV and storylines, some of them a bit boring. There's not that much action or tension, and when there's some it seems to be really quickly resolved. A lot of questions are raised but few answered, but I guess this is just the start of a bigger story. But yeah, world building and characters make it a nice read.
