I wanted to read this book because I love Lauren Asher’s work.  The Billionaire Brothers series is still my favourite series and I still think about those brothers daily. I was so excited to read this book, and I really enjoyed it.

This book has two points of view. The first is Julian Lopez. He knows that if he was ever caught on fire, Dahlia would fan the flames with a smile. She is back in Lake Wisteria and Julian is intending to avoid the interior designer. That was until his meddling mother exploits his savour complex. Julian is determined to get Dahlia her creative spark back so that she will leave town as quickly as possible. But whilst he was determined to get rid of Dahlia, he overlooked one potential issue – what happens if Julian wants her to stay? The second point of view is Dahlia Munoz. People say the devil has many faces, but she only knows one. Julian – her childhood rival and family frenemy. She vowed to steer clear of him while recovering from a broken engagement, but then the billionaire makes an offer she can’t refuse – to renovate a historic house together and triple the profits. Their temporary truce becomes compromised as they faced years’ worth of denied attraction and mixed emotions. Giving into the desire is inevitable, but falling in love isn’t part of the plan.

This book is so freaking cute. I love that Dahlia just wants to move on and get over her broken engagement and yet everyone in this town is trying to get Dahlia and Julian together that they are all scheming to make sure they are in the same room, festival, event. I love that Dahlia and Julian still have banter and their pranks and competitions even when their friendship or tension moved to relationship. I love Julian and how he doesn’t like the fact that he owns a lot of money, but will do anything to help the people he loves including asking his in his one favour to get a TV show for Dahlia and was willing to give up his business to move to another state for Dahlia. I love Lily and Rafa and I really hope their love stories are the next within the series.

I wouldn’t say there are any weaknesses to this book, it just felt like it was missing, and I can’t put my finger on what it was exactly. I felt like there was a lot of repeated information especially when they were talking about Stanford. I am hoping that Rafa or Lorenzo’s book is going to be from the tension and chemistry we’ve seen in the few chapters in this book.
