Wow. This was quite a ride. The two main characters are so devastatingly flawed and broken. But you’re rooting for them with your entire chest the whole time. The author was able to bring such humanity and compassion to the struggle of addiction. So much guilt, loss and grief in such an emotional story. This is a heavy one with A LOT of csa so please check those triggers. But if you think you can handle it, it’s definitely worth the read.
