this was enjoyable! Rachel Gillig really excels in her ability to create a new, atmospheric fantasy world and build a story around it. the characters were all super enjoyable (especially everyone’s favorite gargoyle!). pretty similar in vibes

(and semi major plot points lol)

to One Dark Window which is mostly fine. Six / Rory’s relationship was fun too. I did predict some of the end —

benji started acting a little sus about the future

so i’m not completely surprised about it but I'm looking forward to reading the sequel when it comes out! also —
