This was really sweet. The chemistry between the two MC's was off the charts! I loved both characters independently, and even though they had shit to sort out, I loved them together too. The wedding-to-another-man trope is typically not my thing, and while this book was no exception, I did enjoy the foil Alex posed to Javi. The plot with Mari's father was a tiny bit annoying, and Javi's brotherhood trauma stuff was like silly/uneventful (especially as like fully grown-grown men), but I enjoyed their development nonetheless.
