I thought the way Rice was interrogating “the meaning of living forever” was very in depth. It truly is a concept that needs to be conceptualized through religion, philosophy and morals. It was still very slow though and hard to continuously read through these types of thoughts while getting introduced to different characters. I did still like it better than IWTV
