This novella definitely filled in a big ass plot hole - one that I made a real big stink about in a previous review lmao. Makes me wonder if maybe Giana got some flack for having such a gaping plot hole and needed to go back and fill it with a novella lol. Regardless, it was nice to finally find out how Ares came to be and I love that kid even more now. Definitely worth the read.
