There's no doubt the book is very well written, and the author is a gifted story-teller. Unfortunately, I just did not find the story all that interesting, nor did I feel the main character particularly likeable. Certainly, there are lesser books I've given higher ratings, but the best thing I can say about this book is it kept my interest despite the uninteresting storyline.
