It was a fun read but it moved quite slowly. I was expecting more to happen more often I think?
I really appreciated the weird sub-chapters in the chapters as it made it easier to read, but I don't really understand the point of them? They didn't add anything to the story really.
The plot twist at the end was completely unexpected and made me like the rest of the book more with hindsight, but it wasn't enough to raise my opinion of it. Maybe some self realisation hints would have helped? It felt so sudden!
The ending itself also left a lot to desire. It was so abrupt and really didn't wrap much up. It just left the ending open for the rest of the series.
I'm not sure I'll continue reading the series as im just not that invested in it.
