Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James
3.0

I didn't look for Austen, I wasn't looking for P.D. James, in reading this I was simply searching for diversion. I found it. A drawback was the approach to well loved characters. I read some Austen continuations, I am used to having Darcy and Elizabeth somewhat changed. I HATED what was done to some of the supporting characters, namely Charlotte and Colonel Fitzwilliam. But nothing was as horrid as the miniseries, if the book warped P&P, then the miniseries was a travesty.
