If I were a writer, I’d want to write like Maggie Stiefvater! I love her voice.

4/5 stars for all 4 books in the series. All 4 were consistently good (great characters, interesting premise, engaging setting), but each book had its own gimmicky villains which all kind of bled together by the end of the series. I also felt we could’ve gotten to the point faster, especially in this last book.
And perhaps it’s because I wasn’t paying close enough attention while I was listening, but the endings of all the books in this series were rather hard to follow. Especially the end of this one. It ends happily (which is great!) but I wouldn’t be able to explain to you what happened and am left with lots of questions.
But oh well! It's about the journey, not the destination. Fun read and lovely writing style, but mostly, the characters are the reason that these books are 4/5 for me.

Did Gansey just…spring back to life? Did Cabeswater sacrifice itself for him? Does Blue’s curse still exist? Where is Neeve? What happens to Artemus and Gwenllian (and what was the point of them lol)? Is Matthew okay? What will Gansey do without Glendower to search for? Who were the 3 sleepers if Glendower isn't one of them? Where is Noah? I literally have no idea.But oh well! It's about the journey, not the destination. Fun read and lovely writing style, but mostly, the characters are the reason that these books are 4/5 for me.
