Dance Dance Dance by Haruki Murakami

challenging lighthearted reflective tense medium-paced

4.5

This is the first Murakami book I ever read, so it will forever hold a special place in my heart.

On the reread I decided to start at the beginning of this series, with Wind/Pinball, A Wild Sheep Chase, and then DDD. I loved revisiting the story this was and was supremely impressed with Murakami’s fleshed out writing style by DDD. His writing is poetic and surreal, blending reality with sci-fi and confusion. I throughly enjoy his works and hope everyone reads at least one in their lifetime.
