Invisible: How Young Women with Serious Health Issues Navigate Work, Relationships, and the Pressure to Seem Just Fine by Michele Lent Hirsch

informative reflective sad medium-paced

2.25

This book would be beneficial if you have someone in your life with an illness, less than for someone living with an illness. Reading a litany of traumatic stories about how disabled folks are treated poorly, while relatable as someone with a chronic illness, felt repetitive. Focused more on acute than chronic illness, and lacked structure and arc a bit.
