Riden is still best boy, Enwen and Kearan are still great but not as interesting or fun as in the first book. I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first. The audiobook is still good, there were just some sections I didn't care about, which surprised me. Some interesting character exploration but only for certain ones. I felt like everything was just fine, even the ending. Nothing was certainly bad, just less engaging than the first for me for some reason. Other than a crazy scene involving Roslyn which threw me for a whirlwind of surprises.
Graphic: Body horror, Death, Physical abuse, Violence, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Child abuse, Confinement, Grief, Death of parent, and Abandonment
